is owned by Middletown native, Tara Eccles. She is Dance Masters of America Teachers’ Training School Certified, Level 2 with an extensive background in both dance and musical theatre. Miss Tara, as she is known by her students, has studied at Camp Broadway, the Governor’s School of the Arts, and won a scholarship to the Papermill Playhouse Summer Convervatory in 2002.
Tara has had leading roles in such regional productions as The Wizard of Oz, 42nd Street, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and Grease to name a few. Her choreography has won her recognition at many regional and national competitions. Miss Tara continues her training regularly at Broadway Dance Center in NYC.

I am a Dance Masters of America Teachers’ Training School Certified, Level 2 with an extensive background in both dance and musical theatre. My credits include extensive study at Camp Broadway, the Governor’s School of the Arts, and a scholarship that allowed me to join the Papermill Playhouse Summer Conservatory in 2002.

ANGELA MELFIAcro, Hip Hop, Combination Classes
I was a teacher’s assistant at the age of 13, and eventually became an official staff member in 2012. Prior to joining ElM’s staff, I enjoyed competitive dancing for ElM’S competition team . I’ve been recognized with several judges awards, national invitations, and placed in the top ten, including 1st place teen intermediate soloist. I was invited to dance in Starbound’s national opening number and to compete as a soloist, where I was honoured to represent ElM as their first official competitor. I have been a dancer for over 17 years, trained in every genre of dance. I have also choreographed award winning competition dances for ElM’s competition team, receiving special Judges awards, top scoring group overall as well as the prestigious Impact Award. I continue to further my dance training by attending teacher workshops as well as master classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Aside from my dance career, I am also a graduate of The College of Staten Island where I majored in Childhood Education.

John Barrella is a hip hop/street funk dance instructor from central NJ. His primary focus is on techniques for B-boy(Breakdancing), Locking, Popping, Freestyle and Street Funk choreography.

John Began his training with hip hop company “Wildstyle” under the direction of Eric Samson. After a number of years training with Eric, John kept up with his training by practicing with various hip hop dancers. He continues to train weekly at Broadway Dance Center under the instruction of various instructors, largely with Bev Brown and Spex. Aside from training, John spends time preparing for various shows and competitions. John has been seen at such events as DanceJam at NJPAC, Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure, The opening act of “Unity 2009” in Hoboken, NJ and much more. Aside from solo and group performances, John recently worked with a hip hop crew to compete and win the top prize in a Newark, NJ hip hop dance crew competition. John is also director of the multiple platinum and special recognition award winning teen hip hop crew, previously known as Fresh Effects. They have made a name for themselves by performing and running workshops throughout the communities and beyond. Fresh Effects has performed at Six Flags Great Adventure, half time shows for The New York Knicks and New York Liberty at Madison Square Garden, a number or” Relay For Life” benefits, parades and more. John is highly experienced in many student levels and abilities in dance training. He has worked with young children, teen classes, competition and recreational classes, adult classes and “boys only” classes. His choreography has been seen in various dance studios throughout New Jersey, and a few out of state. He has also chogreographed for multiple college and University dance teams. John strives for a healthy, positive and safe environment for his students. He constantly reinforces a strong will to work hard with every technique and to not give up on any part of a lesson. John pushes the importance of hip hop, dance and the arts to all his students within his current company, as well as all of his classes.

MARGUERITE VILLANTEBallet, Pointe, Lyrical, Combination Classes
Marguerite has been teaching dance for the past 26 years. She
studied all genres of dance at the Freehold Preforming Arts Center,
fpac in Howell, NJ and Studied the royal academy ballet in college
as well. She has a DEA certification and continues to study in NYC.
Marguerite travels around the country as a judge and master ballet
teacher, her love for ballet has given her many opportunities to set
ballet choreography on students from all over the US. Marguerite
has worked with the Manalapan Symphony choreographing two
pieces from the Nutcracker in the Manalapan Arts Holiday Show in
2010. Marguerite worked for Phoenix Productions choreographing
The Sound of Music in 2014 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank
NJ. She has choreographed numerous High School plays as well;
including Grease, Guys and Dolls, Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat , Cabaret, and Carousel, just to name a few.
Marguerite was nominated and won outstanding dance ensemble
and excellence in choreography for the Basie Awards in Red Bank
NJ. She has preformed professionally in Lollapalooza at Jones
Beach, NY as well as many ballet showcases. Marguerite has
donated her time teaching ballet for dancing for a cure benefit as
well as giving back to Alex Lemonade Stand benefiting children’s
cancer. Her creativity and love for ballet and the arts is why is she
is the person she is today.

BRIANNA REINIGJazz, Lyrical, Combination Classes
Brianna has been dancing since she was 2 1/2 years old and started competitively dancing at the age of 7. She won various high score awards and scholarships, as well as taking classes and dancing with several top name choreographers. She has performed in many benefit shows including Dancers Responding to Aids in Los Angeles, CA, Dance for Diabetes and the Stepping Stones Disabilities Festival in WV. She also was a performer in the Citrus Bowl Half Time Show in Orlando, FL. Brianna is a recent Dean’s List graduate from West Virginia University, with a bachelors degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration. She was a 4 year member and captain of the WVU Dance Team. In 2008, Brianna and the WVU Dance Team made history and was the first WVU dance team to ever attend NDA/NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL. Winning 2nd place in 2008, 3rd place in 2009 and then again making history in 2010 winning the National Championship title and the “Innovative Choreography Award” for their performance to “Dare you to Move.” Even in West Virginia, Brianna continued to strengthen her dance career by choreographing for the WVU Dance Team, being a WVU Cheer tryout instructor/judge and coordinating a number of children’s dance camps. She recently became a certified personal trainer and leads personal work out classes and boot camp classes.

KASSANDRA RUBOYIANESTap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Combination Classes
Kassandra began dancing at a local studio in Monmouth County at the age of 7. She then joined the competition team where she was regionally and nationally recognized on a competitive level. Kassandra also attended Ocean County Vocational Technical School’s Performing Arts Academy where she received her high school diploma with a concentration in dance. During high school, Kassandra was a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Kassandra attended summer intensives such as Point Park University’s International Summer Dance, The Joffrey’s Ballet Summer Intensive, and the MetDance Professional Intensive where she studied under world-renowned teachers and choreographers. To continue her education, Kassandra attended Point Park University and graduated in 2016 with a BA in dance, concentrating in jazz technique. In addition, Kassandra has taught students throughout Ocean County and has sincerely enjoyed sharing her love of dance. Finally, Miss Kassie had a wonderful year at EIM and would like to thank all of her students for their hard work. Have a wonderful show everyone! Merde!.

BRITTANEY HAGAMANLyrical, Jazz, Jumps-Leaps-Turns, Combination Classes
Brittaney has been dancing for over 23 years and has been educator since the age of 16. From age 9 all the way to age 19 she was apart of the Competitive Edge Competition Team winning many prestigious titles and scholarships and was even named Studio Dancer of the Year 2000. In 2010 she was picked to internship with Dancers Inc Dance Convention and has been in the circuit with them ever since traveling all over the US. She has went on to teach Mater Classes for both Dancers Inc and On Tour and has choreographed for various dance teams throughout NJ. Brittaney is a recent graduate from Georgian Court University where she received her BA in Dance and studied under the direction of Silvana Cardell. She was able to perform at Philly Pard in Philadelphia and at ACDFA( American College Dance Festival of the Arts) two years in a row were her group scored in the top 5 and was invited to participate in the Gala performance. She also substitutes at various dance studios throughout NJ and is very grateful for the opportunity to share her passion of dance with her students.

Miss Janice works by day as a vocal elementary teacher in Old Bridge Township. She also works with Phoenix Productions as the camp administrator and is thrilled to be part of Emotion in Motion.
